About
Built by someone who sold the keyboards first
Moonmang imports and distributes mechanical keyboards in Korea. Our founder started by selling keyboards and other IT peripherals on Korean open markets — ten brands through consignment and wholesale, writing the product pages and handling the questions and returns that followed.
That is why we would rather carry few brands and make their Korean numbers real. Adding one more name to a list is easy. Watching what actually happens to that brand in Korea is not.
Chosen by typing, not by spec sheet직접 쳐보고 고른다
A switch name on a spec sheet does not tell you how a keyboard types. The same switch can feel and sound different depending on the plate, the mount and the case, so we type on a board before we judge it.
Few brands, deep work적게 맡고 깊게 판다
We spend time on the brands we have instead of collecting more. We take on only as many as we can keep watching — channel by channel, price by price, review by review.
We finish what we start맡으면 끝까지 간다
Certification, customs, channel onboarding, customer response — we do not hand it off halfway. The person you first speak to is the person who stays on it.
Vision
In three years, to be able to point at a handful of brands and say we built their Korean business from the first shipment to the last review.
Founder's Note
I started by selling keyboards and other IT peripherals online myself — ten brands, through consignment and wholesale. That is when I found out that listing a product is the short part. Answering questions, processing returns, reading reviews and looking at the price again — that part does not stop.
When I started Moonmang I decided two things: to focus on mechanical keyboards, and not to collect brands. I will take on only as many as I can follow all the way through in Korea. If we end up working together, I will tell you up front how far I can go and where I cannot.
Korean Compliance
What Korea asks of a mechanical keyboard
Two keyboards with the same switches can need entirely different paperwork depending on whether they are wired, wireless or carry a battery. This is the part we take on.
Certification인증
Radio conformity and KC electrical safety apply differently depending on the wireless function (Bluetooth or a 2.4GHz dongle), how the keyboard is powered and whether it carries a battery. We work out which apply from your spec sheet.
Customs통관
Classification decides the duty rate, and where a trade agreement applies we check whether a preferential rate can be used.
Korean Labelling한글 표시사항
Korean-language markings are required on the product and its packaging. We propose where and how they fit on your existing packaging.
Korean Layout한글 자판 대응
Korean buyers often check two things first: Hangul legends on the keycaps, and a Korean/English toggle key that works without extra setup. We look at how your keyboard handles both and what it would take to add them.
After Import사후 의무
Some product types carry obligations that continue after the goods land. We check whether yours do before you commit.

We do not publish the brand names. Listing brands we have no agreement with can mislead the ones we are talking to, and using their marks needs their consent. What we did, and how much of it, is written out instead.

Where mechanical keyboards sell in Korea
Mechanical keyboards in Korea sell through open marketplaces, PC and electronics specialists, and offline stores. Many buyers want to type on a board before they buy it, so where it can be tried matters as much as where it is listed. Which channel fits depends on the price point and the positioning, so we decide it brand by brand.
